The Jose Sarria Foundation announces a weekend of events December 12-15 to honor Mama Jose. Come Sparkle with us in PS to celebrate his birthday.

Thursday, December 12 kicks off with Dinner and a Movie Birthday Celebration at PS Air Bar. The “in flight” feature film will be Nelly Queen: The Life and Times of Jose Sarria. Enjoy a great meal, a documentary film about Jose’s life. Looks to be a great time. PS Air Bar, 611 S Palm Canyon, 40.00 donation includes dinner, choice of entree beef, chicken or vegetarian
Friday, December 13 is a day for sight seeing, sunning by the pool or exploring Palm Springs. We will gather for a fun happy hour party in the Arenas gayborhood. Fur Friday should be fun for the bears and their fans, but there is something for everyone on Arenas.
Saturday, December 14 will feature the Sparkle Gala will include an incredible benefit show, silent auction and other surprises all to benefit the Jose Sarria Foundation. Suggested dress: cocktail attire with sparkle. “Bring the Bling”
5pm to 9pm, advance tickets donation 30.00 – 50.00 at a local private clubhouse ballroom, address provided on ticket
Doors open at 5pm. Show begins at 6pm.
Sunday, December 15 have leisurely breakfast then meet up at 11am at Jose’s Star on Palms Springs Walk of the Stars, next to the Forever Marilyn statue at Bellardo and Museum Way. We will gather for a group photo to celebrate a great weekend remembering Jose.
